Advisory Board Members


The Center for Violence Prevention's Advisory Board consists of students, faculty and staff at the University of Utah dedicated to eradicating relationship and sexual violence. Additionally, the board includes three community stakeholders to provide guidance to the center on research and practice related to violence prevention. Members of the advisory board will be announced soon.

Chris Linder, center director and an assistant professor of Higher Education in the College of Education. Linder researches sexual violence and student activism. Before joining the U in 2018, she was a student affairs educator, administrator and director of a campus-based women’s center supporting survivors of sexual violence. Linder is the author of “Sexual Violence on Campus: Power-Conscious Approaches to Awareness, Prevention, and Response,” published in 2018. She also is co-editor of “Intersections of Identity and Sexual Violence on Campus.”
