Recommendation
Housing should evaluate current security policies and the university should consider modifying older dorms to provide some form of control as to who enters and leaves dorms in addition to the card-key access system in place in both older and newer dorms.

Conduct preventative maintenance checks on doors in housing facilities.

Review additional measures that could be implemented to increase security of older residence buildings.
